1. Scope
Michigan Media House (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates mimediahouse.com, client-facing forms and scheduling tools, the Michigan Media House Operators service, and internal tools used to manage advertising for clients who authorize us to do so. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and delete information across those services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, service needs, appointment details, business address, industry, website, and the communications you exchange with us.
We also collect limited technical and usage information when you use our website or services, such as device and browser information, referring pages, pages viewed, and analytics events.
3. Meta and Advertising Platform Data
Our internal MMH Marketing API application (Meta App ID 921179871054993) may connect to the Meta Marketing API and other advertising platforms only for accounts that Michigan Media House owns or is authorized by a client to manage.
Depending on the permissions granted, we may process Meta user and business identifiers, Business Portfolio information, Facebook Page and Instagram professional account identifiers and metadata, ad account information, campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, audiences, budgets, delivery status, conversion events, and performance or insights data. We may also securely store access tokens and related authorization records needed to maintain the connection. We do not request a person's Facebook password.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to respond to inquiries, provide requested services, schedule and send appointment reminders, operate our platform, authenticate authorized advertising connections, analyze and report on campaign performance, recommend or carry out client-approved campaign changes, secure our systems, comply with law and platform policies, and improve our services. We do not use client advertising data to build unrelated profiles or advertise to individuals on our own behalf.
5. SMS and Marketing Communications
If you expressly consent, we may send SMS or email messages related to your inquiry, appointment, account, or our services. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages or use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email. Transactional messages may still be sent when necessary to provide a service you requested.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information or client advertising data. We may share information with the client that owns or controls the relevant account, with staff and contractors who need it to provide the service, and with hosting, analytics, CRM, security, and other service providers acting on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. Cookies and Analytics
Our website and embedded service providers may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies needed for site operation, analytics, form and scheduling functionality, security, and attribution. This includes Google Analytics and tools used to operate our client-management and scheduling systems. Browser controls can limit cookies, although some site features may not work correctly afterward.
8. Data Retention and Security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain authorized account connections, meet contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our systems. We use access controls, encryption where appropriate, and other reasonable safeguards. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your Choices and Data Deletion
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information we control. You may also revoke an advertising platform connection through the applicable platform and ask us to remove the related data from our systems. Instructions are available at mimediahouse.com/data-deletion. Some records may be retained when required by law or a valid contract.
10. Children
Our services are directed to businesses and adults and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the MMH Marketing API application.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The revised date above identifies the latest version. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
