Cattleman's Coffee Celebrates Grand Opening with Grass Lake Chamber Ribbon Cutting

August 29, 20241 min read

The Grass Lake community came together on August 22nd, 2024, to celebrate the official ribbon cutting ceremony for Cattleman's Coffee, the town's newest local business venture. Hosted by the Grass Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce, the event marked a significant milestone for entrepreneurs Kelsey and Lauren, who have brought their passion for coffee and community back to their hometown.

The Sister team opened Cattleman's Coffee in early 2024 after returning to Grass Lake in 2020 following a decade in Indianapolis. When the opportunity arose to purchase a building in their hometown, they saw it as a chance to create something new and meaningful for the community they love.

"We're happy to be a small part of our community in a way that something that we enjoy and felt like it was something that Grass Lake needed," shared the owners during the ceremony.

Cattleman's Coffee has already established partnerships with local vendors, including Zingerman's Prime Cuts and Lakehouse Bakery , demonstrating their commitment to supporting the local business ecosystem.

The coffee shop's mission extends beyond serving great coffee – they're focused on keeping Grass Lake "caffeinated and connected." Their future plans include expanding their local partnerships and continuing to grow as an integral part of the community.

The Grass Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce expressed enthusiasm for supporting Cattleman's Coffee and looks forward to seeing how this local business continues to contribute to the town's vibrant dynamics.
